Gopher's vision is to turn the current home ownership and renting model upside down. It's outdated and not suited for the modern young that like to travel, work remotely from different locations, and to experience new adventures. So Gopher is developing a decentralized, generational mechanism based on a rent-to-earn model. It will allow you the freedom to rent Gopher's properties with no commitments but with the benefit that usually only comes from paying a mortgage. Simply put, by becoming a Gopher member and holding our NFTs, you can rent our properties freely while transforming your rent expenses into assets. It allows you to accumulate ownership benefits that are paid out to our members.

Gopher believes that people don't want a purely digital meta-world, but that the future is a synergistic balance between physical and digital assets. So we are building the bridge to connect digital and physical assets, starting with the asset class of real property since this is where the majority of people hold most of their wealth. Once we establish a large network of properties around the world, you can freely live in and rent any of the properties as it suits you, while buying, owning, collecting and trading the underlying assets within our network. Ultimately, we are aiming to set the benchmark for decentralized property ownership and physical asset liquidity.

No. Gopher is taking a fundamentally different approach compared to most other projects that want to leverage blockchain tech and decentralization to build crypto cities. Gopher believes that the most important value that can be created from blockchain technology is the value of a happy community. Creating a city from scratch on a deserted plot of land is not very efficient, plus it doesn't lead to meaningful impact to existing communities.

Gopher wants to plant micro blockchain communities within existing communities. Our focus will be on helping small communities that need help economically. For example Japan, though it is one of the leading industrialized nations , is struggling with rural migration that has resulted in abandoned homes all over Japan. Currently more than 10% of homes in Japan are considered abandoned. By rehabilitating these undervalued assets and planting small micro blockchain communities all over Japan, Gopher is aiming to create a large housing network and protocol that can bring happiness back to all the existing communities. Gophy was born in a galaxy far far way, on a planet called Solidia, that was ruled by super intelligent gophers knows as Neo Gophers with telepathic powers. The colony of Neo Gophers had a highly organized centralized society which had many upsides but also downsides. Neo Gophers were expected to live a deterministic path when it comes to life, education, jobs and family. Their telepathic powers also allowed them to project reality and communicate with one another without the need of technology, and therefore, Neo Gophers spent most of their time holed up deep beneath the planet in underground tunnel systems. Coming up the surface was forbidden. The powers ultimately made them all work in perfect harmony, maybe too perfect.

From a young age, Gophy noticed that his telepathic abilities were wired differently, and he never felt a real connection to Solidia's deterministic society and living within a projected reality. So Gophy always sneaked out of the tunnel system to the surface and spend time exploring the physical world of Solidia that was inhabited by another gopher species, the Astro Gophers. Astro Gophers didn't have telepathic abilities, but were a highly advanced species. What they lacked in powers, they made up with technology. They were explorers and fascinated with discovering and collecting interesting physical objects. He soon fell in love with an Astro Gopher named Zeldia but he needed to keep it a secret since it was forbidden to leave the tunnel systems and interact with Astro Gophers above ground. But one day Gophy was caught and his society made sure that he was never able to reach the surface again.

Gophy felt like an outcast. The only thing that kept Gophy's dream alive, to unite with Zeldia again, was his plan to join his father when he got older and take Zeldia with him. But he had never met his father and only heard stories about him. His father was legendary space pirate Orius. Orius possessed telepathic powers but he was a hybrid, born to a Neo Gopher mother, but to an Astro Gopher father. After the death of Orius' father, it was discovered that Orius was a hybrid. Orius was exiled from Solidia right after Gophy was born. Orius used his powers to build a ship and recruit a crew of Astro Gophers and soon set sail into far away star systems.

As Gophy was hoping to one day see his father again and also reunite with Zeldia, tragedy struck. A violent crab species invaded Solidia, wiped out the entire Neo Gopher population, his mother, Zeldia, and all Astro Gophers. Orius, who came to Gophy's rescue died in an epic galactic showdown against the crab king Megaclaw to save Gophy's life. Before Orius' death, he put Gophy into a space pod that was programmed to reach a habitable planet so Gophy could survive.

As days passed, while Gophy was traveling in his space pod, the almighty gopher god Arcadius, ruler of 21 galaxies appeared in front of Gophy telepathically. Arcadius tells Gophy that he is the one that unleashed the invasion of the crabs as punishment for Gophy not wanting to fall in line with the rest of Solidia's society and also breaking the rule of going above ground to interact with Astro Gophers. Arcadius then challenges Gophy to an impossible mission. Gophy is to go to planet Earth and get earthlings to build and adopt a new way of life centered around a new model of an advanced housing network. This model ought to reflect the two societies of Soldia, one that lived in a telepathic projected world like Neo Gophers, and one that cherished the physical world like Astro Gophers. Arcadius believes that a pure telepathic or digital form of living like Neo Gophers did, allowed them to live in perfect harmony and also made them the superior race compared to Astro Gophers. That's why Arcadius made sure that the two societies never mixed together, and made it a rule for Neo Gophers to never go to the surface. But if Gophy can prove to Arcadius that species such as earthlings can adopt a hybrid way of life around a new societal model, and that there is a way to make physical assets more valuable by mixing them with digital assets, then Arcadius would reward Gophy. As a reward, Arcadius promises to bring the entire gopher species back to life on Solidia, including his family and Zeldia. Then, Arcadius disappears and soon after, Gophy arrives on planet Earth.

Gophy was sad at first, but soon discovered the strangeness of this new planet. For the most part people lived in harmony, but everyone seemed to be different. People had different thoughts from one another and Earth was inhabited by hundreds of different strange societies sometimes causing chaos. For the first time in his life, Gophy felt a real connection as earthlings seemed to be more similar to him than gophers were. But he also noticed some similarities to the Neo Gopher society. Many societies on Earth are ruled by large central powers and people under those powers seemed to have herd-like behavior.  Gophy further notices that especially young people have been left out in owning physical assets and are slowly trying to escape into a full digital world called metaverse. Gophy feels that Earth's future is doomed and is slowly becoming a society like on Solidia. He fears for Earth's future. Gophy sees this as his chance to complete his impossible mission.

So Gophy starts his journey on Earth to use his telepathic powers to start with helping earthlings that want to think for themselves, that want creative freedom, the ones that want to live free of herd mindedness and enjoy both, physical and digital things. Gophy sets out to build a global housing network that will connect the digital with the physical and will allow the few chosen earthlings to live freely. With his hopes high to bring back life to his planet, Gophy is desperately looking for the few adventure seekers on earth that will help him complete his mission. So Gophy's journey begins......

All community members will be granted a membership that holds certain Rights that Gopher will distribute to its network via NFTs & tokens. Think of it as joining a global housing cooperative "co-op", a democratically formed community that provides homes to its members. A primary advantage of a co-op is to pool members' resources to leverage buying power, therefore lowering the cost-per-member in all the services and products associated with ownership and operating the properties.

Property assets will be divided up or fractionalized, and the associated Rights will be distributed via NFTs and tokens, and sold into the network to make them available for all its members and future members. Each NFT will serve as an exclusive membership, and will come with a certain amount of Buying Power that is based on a fraction % of the property. It will grant you ownership rights and will pay free reward benefits via tokens, in line with your % holding. Payouts will be distributed on a regular schedule. The token reward system will be built out after the Mint Launch. Members can buy, sell, or trade Gopher's assets any time. As the network grows, this will allow you to buy, own, collect or live in as many assets as you see fit.

There are 500 NFTs available for mint, with an additional 214 NFTs that will be distributed to Gopher's team, local cities, partners, and home builders. The minting price is 0.25 ETH.

The ownership of Gopher's community wallet is equally split between each NFT. If you own 1 NFT, you will own 0.14% of the assets held in the community wallet. If you own 100 NFTs, you will own 14% of the assets in the community wallet.

When Gopher members pay rent some of the money will be used for operational expenses and to service the properties, to keep members happy. The rest will collected and distributed back to members via our reward system. Each member will receive rewards based on the fraction % you hold via the NFT or NFTs.

Like Gophy, we know that you like to experience many different adventures and don't want to deal with traditional rental or ownership models that will limit your freedom and mobility. It also doesn't allow you to build up assets like a mortgage does. Besides, you can always use Gopher solely to build up your digital real estate empire.

Yes. All Gopher members can rent and live in our properties freely at an exclusive member rate. Plus, the rent you pay works similar to paying a mortgage. It will be distributed back to members via our reward system that will be based on the fraction % you hold via the NFT or NFTs.

No. First, Gopher will allocate 10% of the occupancy rate to teachers, educators and non profit organizations for free. If occupancy rates are still not filled by our members, we will open up the available time to none members. However none members will pay full rental rates and any rental income surplus will be transformed into Gopher's reward system that will be distributed to benefit Gopher members. It's up to the community to decide.
